Notes

Golden Crest Records, Inc. was a small label located in Huntington Station, NY (Long Island). They released a number of rock, jazz and folk albums during the 1950s-60s.
Manny Blanc (1914-1984) was a jazz drummer who played with Tommy Dorsey and other groups. He was a prolific composer and, in his later years, an accomplished painter.
Manny Blanc Plays Jewish Jazz is an entirely instrumental LP.
The musicians (apart from Manny Blanc, drums) are uncredited.

Manny Blanc Plays Jewish Jazz is not, strictly speaking, a jazz record. Nor is it actually "Jewish" music, though it references some traditional ethnic melodies. While it draws from a number of popular musical styles (jazz, rock, klezzmer) the album, to me has more of a novelty/lounge sound.
