As with most of Zoltán Gál's productions, there's a spirit in all of these five tracks that I feel - if the essence of music itself had some kind of sentient soul, once created - would be the strong, true voice of these genres. If music itself was a some kind of spiritual entity or messenger, which found it's way into and out of certain people via the creation of their music, then Gál could be described as a potent distiller of the truest forms of these musical paragons. It's as though no depth of meaning, no subtlety or detail is missed out in the recreation of the music's soul. His hard, razor sharp productions drive a tank through the gates of fleeting, experimental, trend driven and misguided popular subcultures, and reignite a timeless beacon of proper dance beats, drawing in our focus and leaving us in no doubt of where our guidance comes from, and where our trends should turn back toward.
