Release notes from Clone:
Aleksi Perala with the last installment of the Sunshine series! Beautiful and bright modern electronix based on the Colundi musical tuning system. (quote Dj Rephlex; ''the frequencies were chosen via experimentation and philosophy, each relating to a specific human bio-resonance, or psychology, traditional mysticism or belief, physics, astronomy, maths, chemistry.'') Smooth and fluttering melodies layered over crispy rolling beats transmitting lovely vibrant sunny upbeat vibes. Braindance with high serotonin and dopamine levels.

Inner sleeves : Cardboard style with glossy photographic artworks on both sides.

If you're looking for a slow evolutive hypnotic transe techno, this record is a must have.
Aleksi keeps on digging into the "Colundi trip", a very different style regarding his earliest IDM works.
It gives to me the same feeling than his previous "Simulation" LP/EP.
doesnt Do You
Mostly mid-tempo lurching/stamping head-bobbing tracks from Aleksi on this.

It has some of the flavours of the later releases in his Colundi sequence but is much more "straight forward" than some of his often complex and drum heavy pieces. Here the tracks have an analog and live feel to them which is welcome. A mostly relaxed and light release with a nice hypnotic element.

D2 is a little chaotic and feels like it has too many elements vying for attention which spoils the near flawless tracklist but that is made up for by a simple but very tranquil track that follows it and closes out the release.

Recommended, not going to set the world on fire but very very enjoyable and very cleanly pressed.
The bass on this album is from another planet. Stunning.
